Official NPC parking along Niagara Parkway — Rapidsview, Queen Victoria Park, and Table Rock Centre. Rates, WEGO bus tips, and which lot to choose.
Niagara Parks Commission operates the official parking infrastructure along the Canadian side of the gorge. Each lot is positioned at a different price point and walking distance from Horseshoe Falls. The further from the Falls, the cheaper the parking.
The Rapidsview lot is the cornerstone of the park-and-ride strategy and the most affordable official parking in the Niagara Parks system. Located north of the main tourist corridor near the rapids and whirlpool area, it serves as the primary WEGO bus terminal. A WEGO day pass lets you ride every route from here to Fort Erie and back as many times as you like.
Queen Victoria Park lot sits along Niagara Parkway within the park itself, offering direct access to the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls viewing areas. The parkland surrounding the lot has picnic areas, flower gardens, and panoramic views of the American side. It is a practical middle-ground between the budget Rapidsview and the pricier Table Rock.
The Table Rock Centre underground parkade is the most expensive and most convenient parking in the NPC system. Directly beneath Table Rock Centre, it places you steps from the Horseshoe Falls observation platform, Journey Behind the Falls entrance, and the Table Rock restaurant. Peak summer rates reach $30 on busy July weekends. Off-season rates drop considerably.
WEGO is Niagara Parks Commission's shuttle bus network connecting all major attractions from Queenston Heights (north) to Old Fort Erie (south). The Green Line covers the main tourist corridor from the Whirlpool to Chippawa. The Red Line extends north to Queenston.
A WEGO day pass ($8–$12 depending on season) gives unlimited hops on and off every stop all day. Combined with Rapidsview parking ($5–$8), your total for parking + unlimited transit is $13–$20 — significantly cheaper than Table Rock parking alone.
WEGO buses run every 10–20 minutes during peak season. Purchase passes at the Rapidsview terminal, online, or at any WEGO stop kiosk.
Niagara Parks Commission operates multiple lots along Niagara Parkway including Rapidsview ($5–$8/day), Queen Victoria Park ($15–$22/day), and Table Rock Centre parkade ($20–$30/day peak). Surface lots are also available at various points along the Parkway.
Rapidsview is the cheapest official NPC lot at $5–$8/day. It is the park-and-ride hub for WEGO bus service, located north of the main tourist area about 5 km from the Falls.
A WEGO day pass allows unlimited travel on all NPC bus routes and is purchased separately from parking. Some lot packages bundle parking and WEGO — check the current season's offerings on the NPC website.
Yes. Table Rock Centre parkade is an underground lot directly below the Table Rock observation area, approximately 50 metres from the brink of Horseshoe Falls. It is the most expensive and most convenient NPC lot.
Some NPC lots permit overnight parking for an additional fee. Confirm with Niagara Parks staff or at the lot entrance before leaving your vehicle overnight.
